Mission Statement:
Path of the Heart touches the lives of those in need, and makes a profound difference in individual lives. A non-profit, non-governmental, non-denominational charity, Path of the Heart seeks to affirm the dignity and worth that exists in every human being, as well as to promote and teach respect for people without distinction as to race, color, creed, sex, religion, language or social status.
Path of the Heart is dedicated to exploring all avenues and possibilities in modern humanities and sciences that promote the full realization of human potential, and to foster the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of all those in need.
Committed to empowering those in need, Path of the Heart provides an extensive range of learning opportunities to impoverished children and adults. Designed specifically for those impoverished, Path of the Heart helps those in need to acquire the knowledge, skills and self-esteem necessary for personal success; in turn, this learning provides for a healthier, happier, and more productive lifestyle. Path of the Heart is a means of education and transformation for those who otherwise would not have the chance. Each day, Path of the Heart makes it possible for underprivileged people to learn and experience a multitude of new, beautiful things that will one day serve them as they in turn help others.
Path of the Heart offers sponsorship programs that provide safe, nurturing havens for children on the street, and counseling and medical care for unwed mothers. In rural villages, Path of the Heart provides villagers with medical and dental care, educational facilities for the children, foodlines for the hungry, and scholarships for those wishing to attend a university or polytechnic institute.
Healing is the process of nurturing with love, acceptance, encouragement and prayer; it is giving a meal to someone who has not eaten. Healing is providing the opportunity for a bright, underprivileged youngster to attend a university; providing clothes and shoes to a child who is freezing. Healing is providing shelter for those unfortunate enough to lose their homes, and teaching them the skills necessary to support themselves and create income. These are but a few of the ways that Path of the Heart makes a profound difference in individual lives.

Underprivileged
Children
On
the ground I
saw a small child
cold
and shivering,
with
little hope of a decent meal.
I
became angry and said to God,
"Why
do you permit this?
Why
don't you do something about it?"
God
replied quite emphatically,
"I
certainly did do something about it.
I
made you!"
